The falling economy has hit Sweden

This is what it has come to. Cars are too expensive so pimping shopping carts is the all new rage in Sweden. Kids all over the place put all their efforts in making the utlimate mobile party machine.

I am just waiting for the pimped baby strollers and walkers.

Dangerous to be curtious in Sweden

Article in Swedish

Short summary: The man has just been to a night club at Möllevången in Malmö in november last year when he passed two people. When the man said ‘hello’ to them while passing the two men became aggressive. An argument arosed and the man got punched in the face. When he tried to run away they chased him and beat him unconcious.

While in the rest of the world it is curtious to great people, in Sweden it is taken as offensive behavior that requires a good beat down so that people learn their manners.

Yes, they are real: every town in Sweden has at least one designated cowboy. And this guy is the most loved!

The Swedish criminal system is a joke

A man has been caught for drunk driving 48 times!!! (yes, he has been stopped by police 48 times for drunk driving, even twice in one day), but the police can’t do anything because he doesn’t have a drivers license and doesn’t own a car.

Well, that’s how it is in Sweden. The police say they “can’t lock him up forever, so what can they do?”. Here’s a tip. LOCK HIM UP FOREVER! He’s already run over a woman with an infant (forutnately without any harm), and it’s only a matter of time before he kills someone.

But no, in Sweden we have to be nice to people. We can’t just lock someone up when they break the law multiple times.

The Crazy Swede is back!

Sorry for the hiatus, but in Sweden we have 8 weeks of paid vacation, so I did what every Swede does; I went on a booze cruise to Finland and ended up in Thailand sipping Mai Thais with some girls (or boys, I never really learned to tell a difference, or really cared either).

So look forward to more insights into the everyday life of the Swedish people.

Dressman in Sweden promotes Nazis

Thank god that we have the evening paper Aftonbladet in Sweden, otherwise we wouldn’t have articles such as the Irritated Speeder and the Burkini.

This time the reporters at the paper invastigates a claim that the mens clothing store Dressman has hidden nazi symbols in their store.

Swedish investigative journalism

The largest evening paper in Sweden is Aftonbladet. One of the reasons for this might be the cutting edge journalism that is displayed on their website. I have translated the article so that everyone can enjoy the pulitzer prize winning stuff that Aftonbladet is made of (I have really tried to make a fair translation keeping the grammatical errors).

One gets really angry

The speed camera caught Johan, 44, on picture

Johan Spennare, 44, was on his way home to Kumla after a day in Gothenburg.

And didn’t keep check of his spedometer.

– I was kind of tired in the evening and then came a flash, he says.

A speed camera had taken a snap shot of Johan Spennares driving while he was driving 98 km/h on a road with a speed limit of 90 km/h.

–  One mostly gets really upset, but there is no one to direct the anger towards.

The speeding occured last summer. Johan Spennare thinks that the 1500 kr fine was quite hefty. But they have had an effect on him.

– After this I bought a GPS that gives a warning for speed cameras. But I also drive slower now. One gets an eye opener.

After reading an article like this one can simply understand what makes Aftonbladet the leading evening paper in Sweden. The urgency of last years news of a man being caught by a speed camera.

Swedish pervert got balls

We’ve all heard about how promiscuous Swedish people are. Well it’s not really a rumour, but a fact. Not even being caught by police and sent to jail stops a Swede who is yearning for some self loving.

A man caught pulling his one-eyed snake in public was apprehended by the police. This did not stop the determined man because he was on a mission, a trouser snake mission. He continued spanking his monkey both in the police car, and at the police station.

Lesson learned by this? Never get apprehended by the police in Sweden because you never know who’s been sitting in the back seat before you.

The Swedish festival gnome

You’re walking around bored with the Swedish weather and contemplating suicide just like every other Swede (yes, Sweden has a high suicide rate), when all of the sudden this naked dude jumps out and gives you just that little something so that you realize that these precious moments is what life is all about.

And yes, the “pung-gungan”* (a.k.a. the “scrotum-swing”) is his specialty.
